Where are our solutions used?

End products and even the individual parts of a product are traceable, forgery-proof and clearly identifiable throughout their entire product life thanks to direct part marking. Another benefit is that the workload is reduced. Where type plates or labels were previously used, the marking is now only applied once – for the entire product life cycle.

Direct Part Marking is used in particular in the automotive, electrical, aerospace and medical technology industries. The direct marking of individual components can consist of product information, such as serial numbers, barcodes or 2D Codes, as well as part numbers and batches. The particular challenge often lies in the reflective surfaces that frequently occur in medical technology. In order to be able to assess the code quality on these high-gloss and reflective surfaces, special lighting, known as diffuse lighting, has to be used. This enables orientation-independent, sturdy and repeatable test results to be achieved, as possible reflections from the surfaces are avoided. The REA VeriCube DF stands out with its diffuse illumination for reliably verifying test parts with reflective and shiny surfaces. The geometry of the test object is irrelevant. Even complex 3D geometries, where there is a dangerous risk of shadows being cast in the area or directly on the code to be verified, are reliably verified.
